Reference project: Testing of localization applications

Together with the company Trumpf, Fraunhofer IOSB-INA is implementing omlox use cases in SmartFactoryOWL and integrating omlox into the Industrie 4.0 environment of SmartFactoryOWL. The goals are to review the use cases and integration issues around communication, semantics (information standards, digital twin, companion standards), greenfield and brownfield integration including retrofit. In the future, localization applications with special functional safety requirements will also be tested in SmartFactoryOWL.
