Reference project: Testing of localization applications

Together with the company Trumpf, Fraunhofer IOSB-INA is implementing omlox use cases in SmartFactoryOWL and integrating omlox into the Industry 4.0 environment of SmartFactoryOWL. The objectives are to review the use cases and integration issues relating to communication, semantics (information standards, digital twin, companion standards), greenfield and brownfield integration, including retrofitting. In the future, localization applications with special functional safety requirements will also be tested in SmartFactoryOWL.
