Shaping tomorrow's industrial data economy together.
The AI real lab
The BWMI-funded AI Real lab is an open and at the same time protected collaboration space for humans and technology. With as few regulations as possible, the potential and impact of AI can be explored in close cooperation between science and industry in real production environments. The central question here is how AI technologies can be used profitably and in a human-centered way under the framework conditions of Industry 4.0. The close connection to the Industrie 4.0 platform ensures that framework conditions and relevant use cases from operational practice are taken into account. In the future, the core element will be the data portal of the AI Real lab, which will ensure secure data exchange between AI users and providers.
Your challenge
Companies generate large amounts of data in their production, but sometimes do not know how to use it effectively. With the help of artificial intelligence, information from processed data can be analyzed and significant added value can be revealed, promoting the development of new products, services and business models.
The AI Real lab supports companies in using data profitably in the long term and strengthens innovative, trustworthy and secure data exchange in the industry.
Our offer
The unstructured data from the companies' production is processed by the AI real lab and made machine-readable so that plants can be networked and AI algorithms can be used. Based on these structured data sets, AI potential analyses are performed and suitable AI use cases are defined.
In addition, the AI Real lab continuously organizes hackathons in which companies can share challenges from their production with AI providers. For several days, AI experts work on provided data of the defined challenge and develop AI-based solutions. The best solution approach wins and can be further developed and tested in a subsequent implementation project with the challenger.
The AI Real lab also provides support in integrating the results into the companies.
