The "data-driven business" working group supports you with a 360° navigator in the development, launching and operation of data-based value creation models.

Togehter we work out how you can achieve a reducation in complexity and at the same time an increase in customer value. The focus is on the profitability and scalability of your new digital business model.

Cooperation with TH OWL

The development of the business unit Data-Driven Business is funded within the cooperation program Universities of Applied Sciences of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Munich. In this context, Fraunhofer IOSB-INA cooperates with the Department of Economics of the Technischen Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe, represented by Professor Dr. Tobias Schäfers. This cooperation makes it possible to combine the technological competence of IOSB-INA and the business management competence on the part of the TH OWL.

In this context, Fraunhofer IOSB-INA provides many years of expertise on concrete technical application possibilities of data-based value creation, for example in the areas of intelligent networking, AI-based data evaluation, analysis and monitoring, and user-friendly design of technical systems. The Department of Economics at TH OWL (Prof. Dr.. Tobias Schäfers) provides expertise in the empirical analysis of supplier- and customer-side processes, the use of established models for the analysis of customer value and for the strategic planning of business processes, and the organizational design of hybrid service bundles.

The work of the research group is also supported by Prof. Dr. Tobias Schäfers, Professor at the Department of Ecnonomy at Bielefeld Universitiy of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSBI).
