Morgenstadt Data Conference 2022

The big cities and metropolises are known as drivers of digitization and innovation. But what about our smaller municipalities? Where exactly do they stand? What are their potentials and challenges? How do we manage to master the demands of data sovereignty? These are the questions that the upcoming Morgenstadt data conference, organized by Fraunhofer IOSB-INA and IAO in Lemgo as part of the Morgenstadt initiative, aims to address. The quality of municipal data has a decisive influence on digitization efforts in municipalities. The Morgenstadt Data Conference will focus on the growing opportunities and challenges of using data, especially for smaller municipalities.

In order to anchor digitization in municipalities in the long term, a sustainable approach to data is required. Under the motto "sustainable.digital", we would like to shed light on various approaches with you on how sustainable digitization can be designed in small and medium-sized municipalities.
