Real lab Lemgo Digital

With the IoT real lab "Lemgo Digital", Fraunhofer offers its customers, partners and its own scientific staff a unique infrastructure: Technologies can be developed, tested and brought into application under not only realistic, but real test conditions. It has proven to be an extremely useful aid and orientation not only for municipalities to experience technical applications in their development and application in order to then test them in their own city or region. Manufacturers and suppliers from a wide range of industries also have an ideal testbed for new prototypes, concepts and products in the Fraunhofer reallab.   

The special feature of the Lemgo Digital IoT reallab continues to be the tried and tested structures for user participation: users (e.g., citizens) of technical products and solutions can be directly involved in the testbed as everyday experts in brainstorming and actively shaping innovations.
